-------PAPER AIR FORCE Limited Edition------------
Build the ultimate air force with your computer!
RELEASE NOTES
12/15/97
What is Paper Air Force?--------------------------
Paper Air Force is a program that not only provides
long hours of entertainment for users from ages 8 to
80 but it is an educational package that will teach
everyone some history of the wars fought during the
20th Century. It is a fun way for all to learn. The
models can even be used for school history projects.
With a pair of scissors and some glue you'll be dog
fighting in no time. Paper Air Force has all you
need to build realistic flying models of 5 great
aircraft from the Korean Air War.
It allows you to print out full color designs on
your color printer then cut and glue them together
to make airplanes that look and fly just like their
real-life counterparts.

SOUND PROBLEMS:------------------------------------
If you are not hearing any sound or receiving error
messages when the program starts, here are a couple
of things you may want to try to fix the problem:
*make sure your speakers are plugged in properly
and turned on.
*check the volume setting on your computer and make
sure it's not set to zero or no sound.
*check to make sure your other applications are
playing sounds properly.
*Windows users, make sure you have wavmix32.dll in
your system directory and wavemix.ini in your
windows directory. If you can't find these files
in these directories... you're going to need to re-
install the program.
VIDEO PROBLEMS:------------------------------------
If you are getting error messages when running the
program or colors and pictures seem completely
wrong, chances are you may need a new video driver
or need to change the color depth and resolution of
your monitor. You can do either of these yourself.
You'll want to check your computer system
documentation to figure out which video card you
have and how to change the driver and/or video
resolution/color depth.
VIDEO RESOLUTION:----------------------------------
Paper Air Force was designed to run on the smaller
video monitors running at 640x480 resolution. In
this video mode the program will fill the screen.
If you are lucky enough to have a larger monitor or
run your monitor in a higher resolution... say...
800x600, you'll notice a black area around the
program window. If this doesn't bother you it
doesn't bother the software... If it bothers you,
it still doesn't bother the software, but there is
something you can do about it. Windows users-Right
click with your mouse anywhere on the desktop and
select Properties / Settings and slide the Desktop
area bar to the left until it reads 640x480 and
click apply. Macintosh users-Go to Control Panels
/ Monitors and click on options, select 640x480 in
the list box and select OK. If you would like to
change your resolution back to where it was, follow
the same steps above and change it back to it's
previous setting.
